About you

We are seeking a dynamic individual to drive employee growth and organisational performance in a technical environment. The ideal candidate will enhance employee satisfaction, retention, and diversity initiatives, aligning development strategies with organisational goals. This role acts as a liaison between employees and management to foster a culture of teamwork and cooperation.

About your day-to-day

Feedback and Improvement

• Establish mechanisms for ongoing employee feedback
• Continuously evaluate and improve development roadmap in technical environment

Mentorship, coaching and development

• Implement and manage technical mentorship programs
• Provide one-on-one coaching in order to promote learning and development
• Oversee performance appraisals and design and deliver technical programs to enhance employee skills

Career Path and Succession Planning in collaboration with People team

• Create and manage career development plans aligned with compensation frameworks in place
• Help anticipate recruitment needs, work closely with Talent Acquisition team

Employee Initiatives

• Implement strategies to enhance employee satisfaction
• Organise and support organisation of engagement and feedback initiatives

Retention Strategies in collaboration with People team

• Analyse turnover and develop retention strategies
• Implement recognition and reward programs

Diversity and Inclusion Initiatives

• Work together with Ops Managers to promote diversity and inclusion

Collaboration with Leadership

• Align development strategies with organisational goals
• Serve as a liaison between employees and management
• Collaborate with peers and work closely with the Operations Manager to implement initiatives aimed at enhancing teamwork and cooperation

Job Requirements

•  >4 years of experience managing teams and working with clients as a key contributor in Software Development and Quality Assurance environments
• Ability to think outside of the box and strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills in English is required; as well as fluency in Spanish in both spoken and written form
• Exceptional leadership skills to drive our team to deliver top-notch quality work
• Stellar attention to detail and time management with proven ability to manage multiple priorities
• Great organisational and analytical skills
• Reading code and scripting, Python or Bash or C++ or Java
• Background in Engineering, Telecommunications, Mechanics, Computer Engineering, Electrical engineering or a similar field

Good to have

• Exposure to Machine Learning projects.
• Experience using OS X or iOS software.
